      Current Achievements & Ongoing Work

Aid for the Children of Liberia is actively transforming lives in Giamusu Clan through a series of impactful, community-rooted initiatives. We are constructing a 14-room school to serve over 300 vulnerable children, many of whom are orphaned or affected by war. Our Early Literacy Program supports foundational reading and writing skills for children ages 5–17, while our Adult Literacy Program empowers parents and caregivers with basic education—recognizing that when adults are engaged, children thrive. In 2024, we completed a Safe Drinking Water Tower, sponsored by Friends of Liberia, providing clean water to hundreds of families. To ensure year-round access to education, we are leading the Bridge to School Initiative: a dual-purpose bridge for both pedestrian and vehicular traffic that will connect our school to 13 neighboring towns and villages. Our small-scale farming initiative sustains these efforts by supporting immediate project needs and promoting food security. During the holidays, we host Estmar’s Children’s Party (ECP), a joyful celebration filled with music, shared meals, and gift-giving, bringing light and love to the children we serve. Together, these programs form an all-inclusive approach to education, dignity, and community empowerment.
