      Current Achievements & Ongoing Work

Aid for the Children of Liberia is actively transforming lives in Giamusu Clan through a series of impactful, community-rooted initiatives. ACL acquired 250 acres of land to build a Safe Home Campus for vulnerable children. Currently, we are constructing a 14-room school to serve over 200 vulnerable children in a remote community.   Our Early Literacy Program supports foundational reading and writing skills for children ages 5–17, while our Adult Literacy and Small-scale Agriculture programs empower parents and caregivers with basic education and promoting food security respectively—recognizing that when adults are engaged, children thrive. We intend to include digital literacy in the near future. In 2024, we completed a Safe Drinking Water Tower, sponsored by Friends of Liberia, providing clean water to hundreds of families. To ensure year-round access to education, we are leading the Bridge to School Initiative: a dual-purpose bridge for both pedestrian and vehicular traffic that will connect our school to 13 neighboring towns and villages. During the holidays, we host Estmar’s Children’s Party (ECP) and feeding, as a joyful celebration filled with music, shared meals, and gift-giving, bringing light and love to the children we serve. Together, these programs form an all-inclusive approach to education, dignity, and community empowerment.
