Aid for the Children of Liberia - To A Successful Future
Early literacy is the most important investment any individual or family can undertake. That is when a successful future of the nation is framed. Thousands of vulnerable children in Liberia are languishing without opportunity to enter school. ACL has launched an early literacy intervention in the Giamusu Clan to provide opportunity and access to classroom.
Agriculture is the foremost source of food supply. It is vital to the overall health of the country's economy and promotes massive employment, human and food security. ACL is engaged in rice farming, cassava, and vegetable crops, to create a sustainable food supply chain for the children and employment for parents.
Each year, ACL host joyful Children’s Holiday Party for the students in Giamusu Clan. It’s a time of laughter, music, shared meals, and gift-giving—bringing light and love to children who have faced hardship throughout the year. More than just a celebration, this event reinforces community bonds, restores dignity, and reminds every child that they are seen, valued, and cherished.
Parental involvement is important in supporting their children's literacy skills.
Adult literacy programs equip parents and caregivers with essential skills, creating a ripple effect of learning and dignity across generations.
Literacy is not just a tool—it’s a bridge between generations.
